A relaxed Rennick who just did a celebratory hitchkick after hitting his sell order walks into the room. He gazes for a moment into the mighty "Chrystal Ball", taps the mic and will now speak

The mystical and powerful Orb which was positive since the opening bell remains POSITIVE calling for continued STRONG Market action this afternoon. Stay the course people.

Having already scored a win Rennick will now turn off his screen and go pick up his Jack Russell from the vet. Have a great Labor Day all.

the streak continues. i'm pissed i wasnt able to trade today. the run the "crystal ball" is on i hope has no end.

from your experience with the ball, how does it behave with respect to large volume? i.e. - i know it tracks the "smart money", but what about on high volume days - how does the ball's performance get affected?

Seriously I have no idea, sorry. I could try and check but volume isn't something I follow, and I have no idea of the makeup of the mighty "BAll".:D

A well rested Rennick enters the room wearing a rugged Safari outfit with waterproof hiking boots. He takes a quick look at the mighty "Chrystal Ball" and will now speak:

"ooyy,, the "Ball" is calling for WEAK Market Action this afternoon, and wait I see something else... It's the Balcony of the N.Y.S.E., with four guys ringing the bell. It's my hero's waving back, George Patton, Walter Payton, Dale Earnhardt, and the croc hunter Steve Irwin . Crickey Mates!!

I dedicate today's call to the late great Steve Irwin.

No worries. Based on your calls, I am going to start correlating the ball's performance with volume and the VIX - albeit very informally. Curious to see if the reliability changes....

Ah, the joys of reverse engineering.

The thing is, he's making his calls before the VIX/Volume et al, have a chance to show their true colors.

Those guys aren't leading indicators, they're followers, this stuff leads (one could only guess at what's in those moring calls).

THE RESULT w/chart:

A small miss as Averages attempt to sell-off shortly after Update is made. However, afternoon session ends up being very Flat, trading in a tight range. Dow closes +5

ps. I will be watching the Wed. morning opening closely as The "Ball" has a good record of unfulfilled calls from the previous day being fulfilled during the next morning session.
