Any particular corner or color you need to see?
First you complain that CNN is a Democrat mouthpiece, and then you comment with implied disparagement at alleged non-coverage. (It was probably "above the fold" yesterday, when the hearing actually happened.)
I guess I don't see the difference in democratic degradation between a legislative coup via voter disenfranchisement & SCOTUS capturing (which she's been perfectly fine up to this point) vs an actual coup. I can't recall if Cheney was objecting the certification process (I know a large chunk of repugs were pre jan 6)
I will go out on an extremely short limb and say these hearings will not lead to anything against trump. I dont see this as any different than the impeachment. If Garland wants to prosecute trump he will have to bring an entirely new trial and discovery all over again which could take another 2 years.
Are you suggesting that the circumstances don't warrant it? The impeachments were political. Any other bad actor's political career would be dead in the water. Trump has been getting away with bad judgment and form for decades. However, this hearing goes beyond the political realm and decency, and into criminal territory. I think Garland's credibility would be questioned if he were to ignore the finding from these hearings, along with whatever investigations his department may be running.

Whatever happens a green light to repeating it can't be allowed. It would be better if a Qanon type obsessive super fan did a John Lennon and be damned the "martyr" status with the fringe but there needs to be a warning off of some kind to anybody similar in the future.
