this isnt a criminal hearing...just a fact finding.committee...

no one is being charged with a crime or threatened with loss of life or liberty....

You understand that the scant few violent rioters were there interjecting themselves into the situation to cause trouble for Trump. They were not Trump supporters but were posing as if they were.
