He's just a forum troll. They like to pick arguments about anything, especially trivial, worthless points that are really indefensible. They're only interested in instigation of hostility and getting responses.

If he were just debating the liberal side on everything, he would be consistent and take that stance no matter what. Instead, he's admitted many times that he will defend anything his "team" does (right or wrong) because he thinks he acts as some sort of counter to the non-stop Obama bashing.

The progressive tax system is not progressive enough. The gap between the rich and everyone else has grown larger over the last thirty years. The last time the disparity was this large was just before the great depression.

Four hundred people own more wealth than the poorest 60%.

well, taxing the bottom 50% isn't going to do much for anybody. It's kind of hard to come up with any revenue when your only plan is to "tax the poor."

For that matter, we could take all of Warren Buffet's and Bill Gate's money in taxes, and that would only run the government for a few days.

by definition, anyone in the top 50% is not middle. There is no "middle." you are either rich or poor, top 50 rich, bottom 50 poor.

you may not feel very rich at 55K a year, but in my book you are, and it's time to start paying taxes. If you come in at 49k, congratulations, you are poor and get to live another year tax free. But don't get too comfortable, because that number is adjusted every apr 15.
