sorry you feel that way. I am sincere in my assessment of the book--- my financial library is well over 150 books--- and Aronson's book stands as the top TA book I have seen.
Perhaps you could elaborate on why/how you reached this conclusion.
i do not know Aronson and no, i have not been "paid" for my review.

This way you can save all of us the bother of putting it on our credit card, giving us info which otherwise we definitely would not be privy to, and at least allowing MS and the author something to refute.

No offense taken HG that you found my book worthless. What I would be interested in knowing would be examples of TA books you have found worthwhile and what you look for in a TA book to make it of value?
While it was my hope that some of the rules I tested would be good that was not my major objective. Rather it was to provide a statistically sound scientifically valid approach to testing TA methods. Had one or more of the rules been good, every great, I would certainly have shared them. It was not to be. But I think it unlikely that a book for 95 dollars or any amount is going to publish a super system.
I would be most open to hearing out specific ways in which you feel the book could be improved.

Hello AMC - the price was set by Wiley. In such a niche area, this is the price they feel is required to give them a reasonable chance for a profit given the small potential audience. Also, I think they felt that for people who are in the business of trading, an idea that can save them trading losses or wasted time on rules / systems that are without value, would be valuable to the tune of the price. It's all a hazy mystery to me how the set it.

Kidding aside (somewhat), your previous TA usage involved some Gann-related stuff. For someone who once espoused the bizarre fringe of so-called TA, perhaps yours is not the voice of authority on the matter. My comment is not a reflection on David's book, which I have not read. Rather, I don't think that you bring a lot in the way of credibility to the table. The free and easy use of sensational claims (refer to thread title) does not add to your credibility.
