I've tried every mechanical breakout type approach you can imagine and none of them worked.

The way I trade ACD is as a framework to judge price action and provide some points of reference. You can't just blindly trade breakouts in this market...there is just not enough follow through for that. You really do have to be very in tune with the tape to effectively trade this market. Plenty of opportunity for everyone as long as you know what you are doing

One thing that really helped me develop a good "feel" was watch the same shit everyday! I literally watch the same basket of etf's/stocks everyday and I know all of them very well. How they act, when there is volume coming into them, when something is off.

Quick Question though: Is his method anything like the ABC method described by Victor Sperandeo in his book, Trader Vic?

No, ACD is completely different. Worth getting the book and studying it, as there are so many aspects to ACD.

Crude has a very interesting pattern on the daily and has gotten for tight in the last 7-10 days. I have a trigger long through the weekly around 93.2. A big move could be in the cards, watch this boys!

Also, Steel(X) getting above that quarter level. Watch this one in the next 1-2 months I have targets coming into 28-30.
