Obama looked and sounded like a petulent child and has earned a new moniker, "President Xanax". Romney's performance was superb and evoked memories of Ronald Reagan. Seeing the leftist media come unhinged after the debate was priceless.
I think Romney's karma just ran over Obama's dogma.
It ain't over til it's over.
2nd debate: Oct 16 at Hofstra Univ. in Long Island. Topic: Domestic and Foreign Policy. Format: Town Hall meeting. Participants screened by Gallup Org will be undecided voters. This is where Romney has to excel
and make a connection to the commoner to have a chance at winning the election. It's harder than regular debate where you can take the question, and re-frame it by creating a an answer that doesn't really address the original question. In a town hall setting in a Prez debate when a citizen asks a question, you have to answer that question and the issues and concerns that the question raises, and do so to establish sympathy with the voter. It is in this setting where a candidate can create a visceral nexus with the voter, or not. Recall 1992 in which Clinton excelled and Bush Sr. fumbled.
3rd debate: Oct 21 Boca Raton, FL. Format: Traditional with Lehrer as moderator. Topic: foreign policy
A tip to LeapUP. I admire your passion, but staying up all night from excitement over a debate isn't healthy.

What most of you don't understand is that the democrats and the republicans want it this way.
To them, you are nothing but a pawn.
And, they want all of you to keep fighting with each other.
Yet, last night and today many of you are so excited for Mitt Romney because he did okay in the debate.
Many of you are disappointed over the performance of Obama.
But, the truth is, it doesn't matter.
Neither Mitt Romney nor Barack Obama give a shit about you.
One day many of you are going to have this great epiphany: The government isn't your friend.
You want transparency and clarity in taxes, right?
How about let's keep Romney and Obama as far from being able to confuse you as possible?

I really don't understand how you guys are so convinced that this isn't anyone's race at this point. Intrade is your sole factor? Because most of the "polls" are within the margin of error with higher sampling (which I am ok with on sampling, but it does cast some shadow of doubt on them).
