Maybe, but to draw a chess analogy, Romney was playing to win, while Obama was trying for a stalemate.

Make the debate about anything you want. Make it as personal as you want. At the end of the day, Romney just has to stick to the idea that 4 more years under current policy will be a continuation of the disaster we have now.

I'm not, at all, saying Romney will win the election. All I am doing is commenting on this debate.

Another debate comment I loved, this one from Romney regarding a tax break for moving a plant overseas "I've been in business 25 years and I have no idea what you are talking about. Maybe I should get a new accountant."

The leftist media is definitely back on their heels this morning. Eyes a little glazed over. Haven't quite found their legs again. Give'em a day or so to pivot from excuse making to a full out attack. The mud is coming. It's all they have at this point.
America just watched in high def what many already knew. The president is big on style and show, and really short on substance. There is no there, there. Empty suit! Even Maher admitted Obama looked like he needed a teleprompter. Matthews looked like the tingle became a kick in the nuts. The King has been disrobed and the rumor of his 12" cock turns out to be a North Korean 3 incher. Come to think of it, Matthews had the look of a very disappointed white girl.

The media reaction was kind of like the dudes in this video. A moment of stunned silence.

What was that stupid grin that Obama had all over his face every time he was caught lying during the debate? The man knew he was trying to fool us all and he felt guilty and embarassed. Romney looked authoritative and serious, Obama was lost without his teleprompter and the puppeteer's voice in his ear. :(
