Quote from Max E. Pad:
The way the debate ran last night was right in Romney's wheelhouse, they didnt get into to much back and foreword banter with one guy shouting down the other, whereby it would have been more personal, it remained very controlled, with Romney simply spitting out numbers. Thats Romney's home turf.
Where Romney could run into trouble in the future debates is if the debate becomes too personal with the two candidates having a 1 on 1 conversation with each other, and no moderation, like when he tripped out on the 10k bet in the republican primaries.

I'm sure we'll see more "The debates do not really matter" stories today.
Nor did the president question Romney on why he wouldn't release more details about his taxes. Another opportunity lost in an effort to try and portray Romney as being an out-of-touch elitist.
Quote from Yannis:
What was that stupid grin that Obama had all over his face every time he was caught lying during the debate? The man knew he was trying to fool us all and he felt guilty and embarassed. Romney looked authoritative and serious, Obama was lost without his teleprompter and the puppeteer's voice in his ear.![]()
