Funny how you didn't seem to have an issue with an Administration that accepted, in principle, that the FBI may use waterboarding, painful stress positions, forced nudity and other methods on Americans, in American prisons, "in certain circumstances."
And the guy in the DOJ that authored the "Torture Memo" for Bush and Cheney?
He's now a sitting U.S. Federal judge.

Why should there be anit-Bush signs. You guys seem to have not noticed HE AINT THE PRESIDENT ANYMORE when it's convenient for you to do so.
Obama is a fascist by the way,and so was Bush. Both parties are exactly the same. They are both flushing us down the same toilet but you guys are too busy crying that anyone who doesnt love King Barak must be a racist that you can't see it. I can almost gaurantee you if President Obama was white his policies would be just as hard to swollow for 90% of the people who where out there protesting.

The supreme court had already ruled in 1869 that Texas did not have special rights to secede.
But the case was really about some bonds that White, Chiles, and several others got from the secessionist government of Texas, which they shouldn't have gotten. They thought they could get away with it by claiming special rights.
History is full of instances where a minority or a few would claim special priviledge in times of turmoil for personal gains. Those who are doing that in Texas do so in peril of standing on the wrong side of history and with White, Chiles et al.
