Technical Strategy

Spanner in the works. Downloaded historical futures data for TradeNavigator from 6th October but S/S chart is blank throughout...

I appreciate the comments, but can't afford to be distracted by anyone no matter how benevolent the intentions. Every time I look at someone elses chart, or read an alternative opinion, it seems to retard my subconscious learning process.

So while I thank you and am grateful that you're keen to support my learning, I hope you understand that I can't look at that chart.

Now, if you have any suggestions as to how I could get the historical S/S data, that would be a different story :p
 
Correction... apart from 1.5 days of meaningful data (from 1st Dec onwards), the rest looks like this:

... you started well ... worked hard ... but (in my opinion) you're moving away from the path (... or "off the reservation" as somebody kindly pointed before) :)
 
I've been unable to come up with a fix for the S/S problem. I'll need to go through things with the TradeNavigator support once more on Monday, and postpone the drills until such time as the issue has been addressed.

So the weekend will mostly be spent on technical issues. I'll also search some historical material to get an intro to the DOM by Jack.

Incidentally, here's a sweeps document I located a while ago. I've removed some extraneous information (i.e. indicators, description of gaussians etc).
