Quote from Neoxx:
I need to step-up my annotation efforts. I think annotating all the traverses will be the key here.
You annotate ALL the tapes; ALL the traverses and ALL the channels (pt3); ALL the FTT's on channel level after point 3's. AND you annotate channel after channel and ONLY trade reversals from FTT to FTT. You are not doing any of these thinfs as yet.
Doing 10 days will not suffice for you to learn to do the foundation, the stages of channels and trading ONLY from FTT to FTT.
Why? It is because you do NOT as yet spend your time thinking critically and doing ONLY what is directed of you.
You are plagued by being having to be RIGHT, being NEAT, having to let your mind wander about inventing and wondering about what is coming next and not working for any sit down period of time.
Now we are regressing because your mind has not started to differentiate simply because you cannot do repetitions in drill groups and you cannot follow directions as yet. Drilling is only of value if directions are followed by repeating the same directions.
So I should monitor consistent datasets in the Monitoring (e.g. rather than comment on relationship of C to H or L, which is something that should come under Analysis, in a dynamically loggedOverlap column.)
You need to consider MADA as a routine composed of unlike thinking processes. In each letter of MADA there is a particular thinking process that has been explained to people for about four years in ET.
You annotate in order to be able to collect a subset of data elements. In monitoring you collect a set. In beginner the set is simp[le and it is on the left side of the log.
you lay the chart aside when you have used your pencil to write down the M data set. In your case turn the chart over. turn the chart over so it is face down and you cannot see the chart's contents each time you go back to look at the contents because what you wrote on the row seems lacking to you.
By turning the chaet over, you will begin to see that there are four parts to MADA and when the chart is turned over you are in the A part of the routine.
I know overlap and volatility are now in the A part of the log. You know the overlap and the volatility is in the A part of the log.
What beginners want to do for a while is use their M data set to find the element of the A finite set that applies.
You lo9ok at the log to find this out.
For you, do the following:
Look at the row above in the M portion and see if anything changed. Do this 81 times a day and every 5 minutes in real time. the majority of the time NOTHING IS DIFFERENT.
THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF CONTINUE IN THE PV RELATIONSHIP.
You do not know the PV relationhship since it is NOT part of the CW nor part of PA trading a subset of CW.
If you begin to get what the PV relationship is you will then be ABLE to fill in C in the MODE column.
If C is in the mode column , then the D and A of MADA get to be quite simple.
I cannot offer you enough support at this point because your mind is richochetting all over the globe and back again three times.
You are not playing fair at all and rarely have you in this enterprize. Many people fail at trading. The reson is that they do not use their minds and when they think they are, in fact, they are NOT thinking in a critical manner.
I typed and typed and typed and typed to get you to take a data set from volume and price and the cluster this information in your mind and focus on determining if the MODE (from the PV relationship which you cannot remember or type or speak out loud as yet) if the cluster is CONTINUE or change. The ONLY time it is CHANGE is at FTT where FTT CANNOT even occur anytime in any stages of the sequences of channel.
This is what is called a NO BRAINER.
You are asking, at this point in the exchange the question you are asking. Fine. Maybe your mind is awakening.
What do the ANALYSIS columns do for you? They say and explain further WHY you put the CONTINUE in the MODE column. Then you go an have the RIGHT to place an H in the D column which is a new thinking region in your mind that is associated with human behavior. A human must make decisions to stay alive. He does Decisions so he is ready, willing and able to Act overtly. In trading as a beginner we do not Act behaviorally by moving our bodies in any way.
BUT we do something just as important. What is done in SCT is unique among trading approaches. Someday you will begin to do it.
We use MADA for only one real giant reason. It allows our minds to reach closure in the process of critical thinking that we do to make money. We reach closure for sure and absolutely EVERY cycle of MADA. As we do our feelings are complete and they reflect suppoort, comfort and confidence.
There IS A REASON for these feelings. We have done what the mind required to be current in our partnership with the market.
All you are doing is dauwdling along drawing a few lines here and there and peniclling in a few symbols over and over and not concerning yourself with what is being GIVEN to you and you NOT getting or using or accepting anything that is arriving on your doorstep.
I'd like to initiate volatility. You mentioned that it was measured in tics (I imagine this means tick ranges +/- relative values) and needed to be understood in relation to PACE.
You are wrong in your wild ass guess. do NOT do anything with vloatility. Vaolatility is used as a CONFIRMATION of MODE. You do NOT do anything to confirm mMODE as of NOW all you do is operate like a robot filling in the columns after MODE to be RIGHT and make them agree with the M notations. you are not carrying out spearate and different thinking processes in EACH of the FOUR parts of MADA.
RE the partial efforts, does that pertain to the current drill, or more a sweeping statement?
Partial is a word. theword has a meaning in the world and in making money. At some point you will be making money. When you get to making money and have a LOT of money making, you will notice a preblem cropping up. you will be running profits well over 100,000 dollars a day and you will have to address h0ow to step up to a much higher money velocity.
when you read what I type, you are understanding about none of it. The reason is that your senses only contribute 10% of what you have as PERCEPTION the 90% that is not sensory vopmes as INFERENCE FROM YOUR MIND. your mind, at this point has no DIFFERENTIATION FROM THE OCCASIONAL WORK YOU HAVE DONE FOR THE PAST WEEKS.
YOU HAVE NO CONTRIBUTION FROM YOUR MINDS'S INDFERENCE TO HALP YOU DEAL WITH THE WORDS i TYPE OVER AND OVER TO YOU TO TRY TO GET A GLIMMER OF INFERENCE TO BEGIN TO APPEAR WHICH MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH YOU LEARNING SOMETHING

Day 7
Drill commenced at bar 58, before I had the benefit of the recent feedback.
This chart and log is a better example of the glaring errors and omissions, particularly from bar 58 onwards. I think this is a very clear sign that the cumulative physical and mental fatigue of a very strenuous workload are taking their toll, and in order to prevent premature burnout, I need to ease my relentless pace, perhaps even working, not harder, but smarter.

My job is to deal with the reality, take its measure and keep a Critical Path rolling to get this started with a proper foundation.
If you are tired and you did the day in a way that needs to be worked as WORKED SMART, then you need to understand that I pick up on that. I see you putting in point 3 after point 3 using your "invention". We did examples of the conditions for new point 3's as inquiries came into the thread.
You posted the low volume midday awareness you have. AND you need to recognize that you are a beginner trading FTT to FTT.
Anything inside of the time between FTT's has to turn out to be the sequences of the channel beginner trading. You will never have to invent something to cover the situation.
Switch to 2H pencils in black and red.

All along, you've said just the right words, at just the right times, to yank me back onto the right path, and not the myriad paths that I create all over the place. The timing and specificity are almost uncanny. Hopefully I'll get a deeper insight into precisely how you've been doing what you're doing when I finally pick up my copy of Doidge tomorrow.

So far, a fascinating read.
Eye openers included my willing surrender to plastic paradox, and Rousseau's seminal role in the discipline. The most profound ideas I've come across include competitive plasticity and perceptual learning
I also suspect I have a thin insula.
What it would be like to work with giants of the mind like Pascual-Leone, Edelman and Merzenich. Breathing life into the visions of brilliant men. Supporting the innovations that could change the world.
