Reversed short intrabar on the breach of the prior low.

So that wasn't a new point 3, but rather, we're forming the lateral traverse of a short channel, which would mean I reversed at the worst possible time.

And it was going so well.
 
Trying to work out what should have suggested we were forming a lateral traverse instead of a long ND traverse.

Drifting VDU volume?

Failure of the faster fractal traverse to close outside the shadow of the lateral?

Faster fractal FTT influenced by the upper border of the lateral, and the trend change to short?

The volume on which the short traverse ended?

All of the above?
 
My analysis couldn't have been more wrong.

Accepted that we were back in a long channel on bar 56, waited for a retrace, then remembered some of the violent parabolic trends in recent memory and opted not to wait for a potential retrace. Looks as though it's going to be a lateral retrace anyhow.

-10 points on that reversal.

Losing my bearings during midday drift seems to be a recurring theme, and certainly today, turned a potentially solid performance into a decidedly weak one.

Reversal long.

Was convinced there was another leg left in the long move, but couldn't argue with the RTL break.

-6.25/21.75= -0.29 ATR

Good entry, followed by three decent reversals. Went pear-shaped during lunchtime with two bad reversals, then a persistent lack of synchronicity during the long traverse.
