Should I inform the guy who made millions that some guy named MarketSurfer that is somewhat capable of typing the English language on a computer to write a book stated that TA doesn't work and to stop trading immediately?

Again, I agree that most people cannot use TA and trade profitably such as yourself. Just a wild guess but probably about 98% of people cannot develop a system using TA and trade profitably.

I don't doubt your friend made millions in the market-- lots of people have

I would raise that number to 99%-- just take a look at collective2-- if you need proof.

In fact, some people may be able to do it-- but I have never seen it, and all the evidence I have seen makes these folks rarer than lottery winners. In other words, history proves its not a smart avenue to pursue for the wide majority of traders.
