Quote from Rodney King:

Right, but someone reading your sheet can't check the trades because you don't indicate the expiry month. Why not include a column with, say, "CLQ" for each transaction?

That is a MultiCharts feature and I don't know of a way to add that. Just to let you know, our personal rollover date is usually a day or two before eSignals at the end of each month. It is easier to see and guage in the report I just posted because of the far fewer trades.

In all seriousness, do you also understand and believe what jack posted is effective.

Sorry, I though you were commenting on the chart I posted.

No, I do not understand Jack's system but I personally know an architectural engineer in the city (NY) that is learning it and doing quite well with it. I understand the basic concepts but that is the extent of what I know.

Jack has a trading methodology that works to generate consistent profits. If you understand it and can develop a trading plan around it, it will produce consistent profits.

If you don't understand it, then look for methodologies that you do understand and develop a trading plan around it.

Whether he's an active profitable trader, whether he owes taxes, whether he lives with his girlfriend, or whether he died a while back at the age of 80 and his spirit continues to post on ET, are all irrelevant.

He shares very valuable information about the methodology and psychology of trading and if you like it, use it, and if you don't, then don't.

I really like you. A woman with common sense. My wife would love you too.
Stay true.

I could care less about his alleged personal issues, most everyone has some kind of demon--- thanks for your insight. Surf

You know, of course, that much of what Surfy is doing is to try and incite you to "prove" that you have a successful method. What do you think will happen to your system after it is "checked and tested?"

So now here is Prof sending along his stuff...

Agree, however I think Surf wants something outside of public domain. He will disregard Prof because others have it as well. He does not want to simply make money trading he wants something to market, a financial weapon, so to speak.

I use parts of Jacks system. He is unrivaled in giving time based volume methods in the market.

I agree 100%.

Personally, after reading through this exchange I really have to take back and reserve any critique of Proflogic. Not like my opinion matters a shred of course, and I could not care less if he makes $; I just think he seems earnest and competent, and that's often the best you can get from an internet chat site. This is a noticeable contrast to his interlocutor.

But I think there is absolutely nothing anyone would gain from giving away source code, even if encrypted -- especially to someone like Goodboy.

Keep in mind he duplicated VHS tapes of a <i>PBS documentary</i> and resold it marked up as a collector's item. Proflogic: you already know about his sockpuppet behavior -- what makes you think his intentions are noble in the slightest in evaluating your code? And why would the opinion of someone like that matter to you?

Shelf your damaged pride a moment over their attempts to smear you and consider the cost benefit of that choice.
