Quote from marketsurfer:
As I said previously, I have no interest in trading professionally right now. The lifestyle of a stay at home trader doesn't hold much attraction for me currently.

Quote from marketsurfer:
I'm not arrogant enough to believe that I know more than those who have PROVEN their ability and talent in the market. The result of this ability is great wealth, not eeking out a middle class income or living off your trust fund/ inheritance/ business sale/profits and calling yourself a trader so others don't get jealous.
When I have substantial evidence that a trader achieved consistent and scalable results, I'll pay attention. Only losers or those soon to join their ranks would say otherwise.

Quote from Fireplace:
I think the variable that would change your mind would be the ability to be profitable. I agree, no sense in trading full time if the skills aren't there yet to do so.
Quote from ProfLogic:
You are bipolar and need help. You are arrogant and one of THE most arrogant people I have ever met.
You are not the be-all-end-all of authority on trading. When you get up off your fat lumpy ass and make the effort to validate the information some of us have laid at your feed, then and only then will your comments regarding what we do or how we live carry any weight.
You assume to know everything and actually know less than nothing.
Quote from ProfLogic:
He's failed a few times and is discouraged and broken. Those of us that failed and failed and failed kept getting back up and going back at it again. We didn't accept failure as an end.

Surf thinks because he's read many BOOKS on trading that this somehow means he understands what is or isn't possible.
I find it humorous![]()
Quote from marketsurfer:
Your constant personal attacks when only your own statements and claims are questioned make things quite clear.
I don't believe there is a need to validate claims from the "flat earth society" or other various cult groups --- however, they and you are more than welcome to provide evidence of the claims for review.
Once again
When I have substantial evidence that a trader achieved consistent and scalable results, I'll pay attention. Only losers or those soon to join their ranks would say otherwise.

Amen. If I gave up the first few times I built a trading approach, I'd be long gone from this biz.
Some people are just mentally stronger than others.
Hmmmm, exactly how well capitalized were you to keep failing and still having enough to live a good life without any other income? I thought you started with $20k--- that sure doesn't allow for failure when you are also living on that money as a professional trader with zero other income.
