Well, it took forever, but my broker (IB) FINALLY credited my account with the two-grand I sent in! ( Can you believe that it took over three weeks to clear a perfectly good 7-11 Money order!?!)
So I started trading about three weeks ago â influenced by my new hero, Mister Jack Hershey. So far the results ainât been too bad, but I have put on 38 pounds popping his damn Kisses. (Mister Hershey said to KISS, and since I have had trouble understanding a lot of his dictates, I figured Iâd double up on the rules I could understand.)
To be on the safe side, I replaced the lock of W.D. Gannâs hair with a lock of Mister Hersheyâs. I canât say for sure, but it seems to have done the trick. Hereâs the bottom line:
Plus 20 ¼ points over the last three weeks ( without a losing day ).
Scoff is youâd like, but Iâll bet itâs better than a lot of you guys did. Of course my Wizardâs Hat, Cape with hand embroidered stars and moons on it, the Garlic Necklace to ward off evil spirits, and the locket containing a few of Mister Hersheyâs hairs give me an edge that is all but impossible to quantify.
While I am pleased, the wife is thrilled! So much so that she has begun to talk to me once more, and even allows me to sleep in our bedroom again (just on the floor for the time being).
I ran the numbers, and at this rate I can expect to clear something better than 17 grand over the next year. So Iâve decided to get rid of my Apple II+, and upgrade to a Dell Precision 450 computer (

Anyway, Iâve got to get ready for the opening in the morning, and I want to reread a few of Mister Hersheyâs posts ( even though they make my head hurt) before the bell rings. Iâll let you know how things go.
