As much as the lefties here and elsewhere might try to deflect, right now, today, Biden can not explain away this TOTALLY BOTCHED withdrawal "plan" by deflecting over to the larger issue of whether we should or not withdraw from AFG.

There are plenty of people, myself being one of them, who are totally in favor of withdrawing from AFG but are just totally aghast at what a shit show, clueless, spaced-out, operation this has been.

AFG withdrawal= chaotic shit show.

Border operations= chaotic shit show.

See a pattern there?

Also, in regard to the topic of this thread, I am not yet judging the AFG president for escaping while he could. It is an indication that he truly opposed the Taliban and they will kill him.

Meanwhile, I saw Karzai, his predecessor on Fakebook, big smile on his face telling people he is staying and to stay calm type of thing. He looks more like a hero than the other guy there. Don't be so fast. Karzai milked the corrupt war machine for many millions, including very, very sketchy relationship with the Taliban. He has plenty of friends among the Taliban and many have been big beneficiaries of his "work."

it should be noted that Biden pushed our withdrawal from the Trump deadline. I criticized him for it, but at least he hasn't gotten any of our guys killed:
