Again, I was just going with the tweet posted that you were referring to. Says the schools discouraged it. So that sounds like a problem with the school. There is no law against having a picture of your spouse on your desk at school.

Well the county board of ed is the government aren't they?
The district is a public school system.
If this were a private school then I would agree that it is a problem with the school but this is a whole district of schools.
If they impose strict restrictons on only gay teachers then there is a problem. If you put up pictures, we will punish you. If they are saying there will be restrictions there will have to be punishment for non-compliance.
