I like this particular post because it shows this systems performance after 36 days of trading. The $6.26 NAV essentially shows that this system trades without a profit thus far and there has been some DD experienced. Are you the kind of trader that can trade this way? As the year progresses the banked amount of money will strengthen the ability of the NAV to hold a positive number. Can you see that? So you are investing your time ...lets say you are TradeVesting™. TradeVestors™ are special people that know themselves a little more than the average investor.

Are you a builder? Do you enjoying climbing? Are you motivated by strengthening your position?

I hope that you folks are enjoying this thread and can glean something from it. You do not need to trade this particular system to gain knowledge from this thread. Actually when you put risk on to learn, you might diminish what you learn from this thread. Remember that an "always-in" system such as this is the riskiest way to trade, because of your EXPOSURE to the markets movement. Can you see that? Please post any questions.

30% is nothing to snarf at. I bet Neiderhoffer would kill for a 30% return right about now (erm, I should add without all the risk he apparently piled on)!

All kidding aside, it's an intriguing way to trade. It looks like this could be done on most big markets given the right parameters, and possibly here in the US with two accounts.
 
Here was the long-awaited reset. All the longs were taken out and the system essentially starts over. The system is never flat, but this is nearly as close as it comes. After 42 days the market is giving a projected APR of 39.51%

In the grand scheme of things...take a look at the monthly chart. In this thread the system has not seen the trending moves that is possible and I do not know if it can survive them...take a look. The last two bars is representive of the movement in this thread. It could zig-zag for months to come...or it could see what it has in the past and start tomorrow with a monster trend that would take out all of the money in this system (Current test has account risk set to 100.0% in the EA inputs) This thread may last a long time just to find out this will crash. So you are stuck with me for a while. Perhaps the account risk could be reduced to 95% at this point and juncture. I will leave it at 100% for the purposes of this thread.

The beauty of a long term trading system is the easy maintenence and it is so easy to monitor the automation. I have let this just sit and trade for several days with occasional glances at it.

Hello everyone... How are you? The system just keeps working and the projected APR is a little higher than the predicted 30%. Living with this system each day sure has become easy. My biggest fear now is not the blow-up....but if I can maintain at least a 30% APR. If only I could trade this in the USA....Leverage at 1:50 causes the initial deposit to be too high thus rendering the APR too low for the risk. I would need at least 25% APR.
