Super Money Grid Back by Popular Demand

Due to popular demand I am reopening the test of the "Super Money Grid".

This time it is with 4K on a M15 chart in a MT4 Demo account (trade this live at your own risk) and all of the other parameters of this EA remain the same.

This is not a get rich EA and do not expect much more than 30% yield per year. If the market permits, it can take up to 30 days of your time and risk to get the NAV to turn around and to lock in a positive number. So be patient and enjoy the thread.

During this time of day we usually get a NAV temporary improvement...There needs to be a boundry reset for NAV to become positive. It could take up to 30 calendar days. Note the margin used actually is decreasing because of the hedging (hedged offsetting trades = zero margin) rules that this particular dealer has. There are two sells against the 10 buys, thus two buys were offset for margin calc's and only eight of them were used. Yes this sort of dealer is good for this sort of system. There are many offshore dealers that treat hedging in this manner. I am unable to trade with them as I am a USA resident and the new Dodd-Frank regulations discourage me from trading Forex from unlicensed dealers offshore and for unlicensed offshore dealers to solicate me.

Got the reset...But don't get excited over the positive NAV just yet....There is a ways to go...Any gloating over this EA should be about it's survivability, not only its profitability.

For those of you logged into my platform ...you have seen a maximum of 2% drawdown...this system can sport much more drawdown than that! You can see 15% drawdown at times. I personally pull the plug at 30% drawdown. Some of you could deduce that you would not pull the plug but add more capital. Remember as you add capital that reduces your yield as you have more money at work...so be careful. There can be several years of this pair going in one direction, so your personality must be the type that can tolerate such negativity for that long. I picked 4K for a start balance to give some longevity to this test.

Remember this is a long-term system designed to just sit there trading away automatically...nothing exciting...no big PIPS to bag...bla bla bla... This is TradeVesting™.

Treat this like a big ship (and not the one that just layed over that is in the news just now) and not a speed boat. Some grid traders just check their systems weekly (I could not do that as I need to make sure everything is functioning correctly).

So how does one grow with an account that makes about 30% a year? This sort of grid system makes it complicated to just add dollars and double your lotsize. But I suppose that if you put 8K in you could, but you still just get 30% APR on your money.

I think the better way is to open up several accounts spread across several dealers. For you global traders that can trade this you have many dealers to choose from. For the US residents here...well you cannot trade this. Thank your Senators for that. The land of the free cannot trade this.
