A priest and doctor were out golfing. The doctor gets up to take his first shot. He swings and misses the ball completely.

"God dammit, I missed," says the doctor.

The sky starts to darken a bit becoming overcast.

"Don't use the Lord God’s name in vain," says the priest.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Patrol car video shows a white Austin, Texas, police officer violently throwing a black woman to the ground during a traffic stop, followed by another white officer telling her black people have "violent tendencies" and whites are justifiably afraid.

Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo condemned both officers' actions. He called the officer's comments on the video "disturbing" and said a criminal investigation has been opened against the officer who arrested Breaion King.

"For those that think life is perfect for people of color, I want you to listen to that conversation and tell me we don't have social issues in this nation," said Acevedo, who is Hispanic. "Issues of bias. Issues of racism. Issues of people being looked at different because of their color."

The newspaper identified King as an elementary school teacher. Her attorney did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

Acevedo said King did not file a complaint after the arrest and that he did not know about the traffic stop until this week, saying his subordinates should have previously alerted him to the video.

King told the newspaper that the encounter changed how she views police. Acevedo said she was pulled over for driving 15 mph over the speed limit when Officer Bryan Richter ordered her out of the car. The video shows him nearly throwing her into an adjacent truck while trying to place her under arrest in a Wendy's parking lot.

"I've become fearful to live my life," King told the newspaper. "I would rather stay home. I've become afraid of the people who are supposed to protect me and take care of me."

Well, I thought this was a joke but apparently this numbskull cop is actually saying he was trying to shoot the other guy. I'm just completely confounded by the shear stupidity of this idiot cop. How in the world do you see this situation as any kind of a threat which would dictate shooting someone is complete nonsense. Get this PIG off the street and in a jail cell where he deserves to be ass raped repeatedly for the rest of his sorry assed life.

Charge the cop with attempted murder and put him in jail for 20 years. Whatever a common citizen would get for shooting an unarmed, peaceful person

Any cop that murders a citizen on the job, unjustified, give em the death penality or life in prison.

Any cop the kills in the line of duty and it's justified, hold them up and honor them

This is what infuriates me. Cops are above the law. They shoot and kill an innocent life, whoops. I thought my life was in danger. If the average person on the street shoots and kills an innocent life, they get 10-20 years for manslaughter.

Cops are not above the law. The People are not second class citizens. Arrest this fuck and throw his ass in jail. That's THE LAW.

In Canada, we get lots of this. Self-defense laws are extremely punitive against law-abiding citizens. Knock someone out who punches you, and you're going to jail in Canada for assault. But if a cop is punched, they can use their service weapon and kill the person, no questions asked. And he's a hero.

The State wants a power monopoly. That's all it is. Do what we say, not what we do.
