The republicans are missing an opportunity here with this story. Where is the questioning of the police? Already a back page issue, not a soul talking about it. Not even the left. It is more than disingenuous to hold the black community accountable for their actions, and then give a pass to the police when they screw up to this magnitude. I want to hear Trumps opinion on this particular shooting. I want to hear the Milwaukee sheriffs opinion on this particular shooting. I want them to acknowledge a monumental screw up.
If we must endure this constant hero worship of the police, if I must continue to hear the'" they run towards the fire" phrase one more f'n time, then I want to hear these same people aggressively hold the police to account when they shoot an OBVIOUSLY innocent man.
And one more thing. Where the fuck is BLM on this particular shooting? Thug gets shot, they're all over the place raising hell. A truly and totally innocent black man gets shot, a case where there is absolutely no doubt as to the man being no threat at all, and nothing. The complete and total bullshit coming from the hard liners on both sides of this issue has me thinking they deserve each other, and as per usual have no interest in solutions, only pissing and moaning about it on the never ending campaign trail.
