Stop paying credit cards. Give yourself a bailout!!

What all the righteous "Pay Your Bills!", "Deadbeat!" crowd fail to understand about the consumer debt game is one thing:

IT'S JUST BUSINESS!

Well at least for those who are actually approaching it that way. Those who just run up bills they can't pay with no plan are just idiots.

But shit, in this day and age, running up bills like a moron and then crying for a bailout from Obama seems like a better choice than straining yourself to pay them off.

Sir,

I would not call it righteous - I would call it responsible

I have two teenage boys - What am I supposed to do - teach them to be irresponsible also... Or walk the walk and set the example - for our future Sir

Yeah... if one's a loser like you who can't / can barely make it on their own.

That's exactly how I see his posts too... call me a cynic but somehow a credit card cheat who trades a sub 1k account and claims to make a living off of it doesn't have a lot of credibility with me. But I'm sure some of the deadbeats here would disagree :p

Lol

1stly why would i want to drive a car?? :D
If id wanted a car id have got a license and got one 2years ago.

But i dnt have any reason to want to drive as i work from my flat so dont travel to work,
i live in London so have loads of shops, bars, clubs, restauraunts minutes walk from me,
And great transport links all around london if i ever need to go anywhere else.

The only places i actually travel to are my mates house which is just 5mins walk from me,
or to bars and clubs which id be drinking at so wouldnt be driving anyways,
and so just get taxi's to/from them. :p

As you seem so interested in my life mate il even show you a photo of my flat if you like! :p

(Screen-shots attached. And at the end of april when the pool for the residents of the 6apartments of the block has finished being buil il show you a photo of that too if you like) :D

He sure does talk-up a storm though, doesn't he?

He has everything figured-out ... is super-smart, ultra-manipulative and a master at understanding the strengths and weaknesses of every social or business interaction and exploiting it ... to his betterment.

So that's why he lives in a studio flat with a TV in his kitchen that he struggles to pay the rent on every month and if he misses just one or two trades (or if they don't go his way, go figure) he won't be able to make his rent for the month.

That's why the stress-levels are ultra-high for him and anyone who is remotely sane would not have put themself into this situation in the first place!

So, do you want to know how I really feel? :p :D

Lots of moralizing in this thread..

Check out your moral belief system - you'll find it's entirely self-serving and has nothing to do with universal right and wrong.

How about a guy who has hungry kids to feed right now and can only do it by ripping off the system? His moral duty is to his kids, not to some abstract social entity.

Some people can't afford to consider the future; they must deal with the exigencies of the present.

And another "mea culpa" post defending the actions of a blatant, natural born con man, thief and itenerant hustler.

So spanish89, how many kids do you have to feed? ... ROTFLMAO :D :D :D

Hardly mea culpa - my post is a generalization and applies only to spanish89 if the particulars of his situation are covered by that generalization.

Ultimately, those who commit immoral or even criminal acts out of necessity are punished for pragmatic reasons by people who believe they belong to a fantasy entity called 'society' ( which is really, among other things, a gang of people who have no need to commit desperate acts ), not for reasons that arise from any unchallengable moral rationale. Those who must commit desperate acts to survive are marginalized and are considered non-social.

If we're going to pretend there is an essential morality then surely the existence of poverty is immoral and the responsibility of those who have the wherewithall but not the will to ameliorate it.

"Criminal acts out of necessity?" You losers always find a way to "justify" your bad behavior... just like your problems are never the result of your own bad decisions, others and circumstances are always to blame.

What was your "necessity" for committing this fraud? I think your brain's been damaged from doing this one too many times :p
Quote from Hansel H:

I owed 2300.00 on my visa. I pretended I slipped on the front step of the bank and made sure I hit my head on the door on the way down. As I negotiated with the bank manager blood was dribbling down the side of my head. We settled for the balance owing.

Works every time.
