BUY AMMO, then go do your shopping after everything hits the fan. Lower initial cost and space requirements for storage.

I think my wife has enough hamburger helper at the house to feed us for a year. There is a giant herd of cats living at an abandoned house a street over....who needs canned food LOL

Bottled water, or 7 or 8 gallons water saved is a good idea anytime.[Edit= backhoes have goofed up more water lines than any crash or melt uptrends]
I never did trust the water co to get it right all the time, even with best tap water like US has.
I prefer rainwater or well water, over tap water but drink all that.
I also like canned smoked fish\even though the cashier @ WMT she exclaims ''you like that stinkin' stuff?? LOL
Hickory smoked venison or chicken+ hamburger is quite tasty, bear or bull market.
