I think that markets in general, and this one in particular, are a model of bipolar disorder. Presently, it is clearly in manic mode...

It is interesting how various posters are the embodiment of this very condition, either extrapolating the current trend into the stratosphere, or expecting the world to collapse, with chronometer-precision forecasts of exquisite specificity and certitude.
