Kind of depends on what you mean by proven and definable, as I've traded with many discretionary traders in daytrading shops who make good bucks, but don't have anything that they could present to anyone as a "system".
Again the ILLUSIONS of success may prevail in these cases.
I know many traders that have great weeks, months and even years only to blow out in the end !
So what was the point of it all ?
Quantifiable means that it is measurable and if it's measurable then it's real, so long as it continues to be quantifiable.

First, surely you know that Exodus is Samson77.
I have outlined his misadventures trying to sell stolen systems here on ET.
In general he has nothing to say except to mouth the words of other traders whose posts he pirates. He doesn't have the basic intelligence necessary to understand what "quantitative" methods are or how to use them. He has a history of buying systems, not being able to make them work, then trying to market them here. In other words, he is a putz.
Like most scam artists, he has no shame, and can continue to post and even act aggressively, assuming that the crowd here will forget his previous acts. If you notice, almost none of the regulars here will respond to him anymore. On occasion I will slap him around a bit, but frankly I think it is a losing proposition to have anything to do with him.
I leave the rest to your judgement.
