The relation of total cholesterol and especially LDL with coronary disease is well established in the Framingham study. This is one of the most serious and well conducted cohort studies in the history of medicine.
How about showing where IN THE FRAMINGHAM study this is written and not just some random newspaper article that just says that? People have a tendency to distort things when reading and interpreting it in order to fit whatever they want to believe and that is the sadest truth of all. However, what the Framinghan study DOES have is table after table showing a clear and progressive relationship between high LDL cholesterol and Cardiovascular Disease.All fine and dandy unless the goal is to live longer- in which case the Framingham Study established that people with the highest cholesterol lived the longest. An inconvenient truth.

I take a statin but i don't have any side effects.1. I promptly noted those situations.
2. So I should take a drug on a maybe that has a few pretty bad side effects and weakens my heart by taking CoQ-10 away?
3. I haven't addressed the unwanted side effects of statins, so this might be a good place for it:
