Starbucks Brand Crashes After Announcement of Plan to Hire 10,000 Muslim ‘Refugees’

Tell me how yours differs, and why you think I'm misguided.

I don't think you are misguided at all. For me to think you are incorrect means I need to have facts to back up why I am correct. I don't have those facts. We're talking about faith, belief, opinion. There is no right or wrong.

What is more important is that we all accept others and their right to exist, find happiness, etc., based on their beliefs. We should not impose our way of thinking or label someone stupid, or a bigot, or ignorant just because they think differently. This is a liberal argument I'm making here - it should appeal to you.

Have I not mentioned on multiple occasions my views on organized religion? Groupthink is when no one actually thinks.

So in response... Yes, you find Pope Francis to be non-spiritual, bigoted, and hateful because he condemns the practice of homosexuality.

Good to know.

I don't think gwb follows the "holy books" per se, I think he is showing you (as I am trying to) that others don't precisely follow your way of thinking on the subject of what is, and is not, acceptable/moral/permissible, etc.
Who are you or anyone else to say that someone who was born a certain way is not permitted to be happy, providing, of course, that he hurts no one while pursuing his or her happiness? How does that even come into question among thinking, decent people? Are you kidding me?

You're being a bit pedantic here.

I agree.
We should not...label someone stupid, or a bigot, or ignorant
Unless they are. Otherwise we are lying to ourselves and to them. Words have meaning.

What are you talking about? I just got done telling you over and over again that I have absolutely no right to say that anyone else is not permitted to be happy. All I am giving you is my own personal viewpoint of what is right and wrong. Not what should be allowed.

Okay, then let me reword it. Who are you to say it's "wrong" if it's natural to them and hurts no one? Would it be more "right" for the other person to live a lie so as not to offend anyone's delicate sensibilities? Come on, Tsing.

Who are you to say it is right? We are each entitled to our own opinions. What is important is that we respect the opinions of others. I am respecting yours. It does not appear you are respecting mine.
