whooooosh ....... right on by.

Rather than admit a repeated pattern exits in your behavior, obviously, you'd rather discuss linguistics. Fine by me, but it has nothing to do with my liking it or not.

If you ever get around to posting an actual chart of the day in question, with arrows pointing to the actual bars (as I don't understand how Bar 5 can occur at 8:35 on any time zone), let me know.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend all.

Can you not see we ALL do this, in our own way. Some subtle, some not so subtle. That's how this whole thing started as you might recall, when I stated that you told me you can not know a flaw until the next bar. You did say this. I may have misunderstood the context. It may have been true at that resolution level, or some other reasonable explanation. Instead of accepting that you may or may not have said something you snapped back at me.

As I stated earlier, this is on the Tucson video. My chart data doesn't go back that far. And you explaining after the fact won't help me or others like me. We need to understand, as it's happening, what to do. That can't happen in a thread like this, and I fully understand you have no obligation to do it in any other way.

I will do my best to pull back from this whole situation because I see that my questions can't be answered in this forum in a way that I can find useful.

Good luck to you all.

The following clip may be an example of what Bob is referring to, where we see the phenomenon of flipping blk/red/blk red:

http://rapidshare.com/files/53228710/20070808clip.avi.html

The clip is about 3mins long and about 14Mb.

This was a case of an anticipated ftt at 14:30 on 8th August 2007 where, after entry, I experienced this blk/red/blk/red flipping and posted a question on that date. On reviewing the video, it still looks like a potential flaw but in fact turned out to be an ftt.
very nice setup, you clip end at 14:32, it looks like a flaw to me too but the two prior extreme vol bars also tell me we could be running out of buyers soon.

Hi,

Just a question about PRV. Maybe I missed something very basic.

Imagine a potential FTT bar. PRV after one minute is 90% of the former bar so it could be an FTT.

We know that volume will turn out about 90% of the previous bar. But we don't know where price will close within the bar. How does one handle this? Does the confirming PRV just mean that we anticipate an FTT and we wait what price will do?

Or would you actually base a trading decision on just PRV?

regards,
Ivo
