Yes, it is possible to feed with real time data. But the problem is that the real time data are not free. There are many real time data providers and for each I must implement a adapter for data feeding. We must figure out which one is the most used provider and that could be my first data feed interface implementation.

A number of things need to fall into place before the Hershey Web Site transitions into full operational mode. One important factor which needs addressing stems from the use of bandwidth. Due to the high number of rather large camtasia video files, the web site requires a solution which permits high volume downloading at a reasonable fixed cost. In addition, several individuals find themselves making the transition from learning equities to learning futures. Once a sufficient number of individuals acquires the transference necessary to 'pay forward' in the same manner, work on the Hershey web site can then proceed in an orderly and timely fashion.
With respect to knew and interesting things pertaining to equities, I hammered home the point (numerous times) regarding the benefits of reviewing the Journals (more than once if necessary) during my IBD Tucson Presentation. The same lessons available on several web sites, and first posted to USENET nearly seven years ago exist within Journals One and Two. To quote a famous movie character, "Already have you that which you need."

I recall when I first started trading this method this past spring, it seemed like I was actually getting too many LBDU signals. It was kind of scary.
I guess we're just in the normal summer doldrums. But you're right. I've seen several opportunities pass me by recently and I didn't take them because they weren't on my dry-up list. If I had some basis to be looking at them and anticipating a nice move I'd have traded them.
One thing that I don't do and I know I should be doing is reviewing charts for all the final universe stocks every night. I should be drawing/updating trend lines and channels. Instead I'm just running scans every night and waiting for LBDU signals every morning.
Even for stocks where I'm anticipating a bounce off of a trend line, do I still look for some kind of volume breakout? In other words do I still calculate LBDU for these stocks or is simple unusual volume enough for jumping in?

Take a look at a few charts over the weekend. Look at Daily, Thirty Minute and Five Minute Time Frames. Notice how Price, Volume, MACD and Stochastics move in a somewhat sequential patterns. Focus specifically where price makes a 20% or greater move, but do not ignore other areas where price makes, what one would consider, a 'substantial' move (but not quite 20%).
As you already know, drawing in trendlines and channels provides greater clarity for when to (or not to) take a trade. I recommend performing the activity nightly. Over time, the practice becomes second nature, and you'll 'see' the trendlines without having to draw them in.
Eventually, you'll simply know in advance when (as kenny Rogers says) it is time to hold 'em, and time to fold 'em. If you get stuck along the way, many people are happy to help.
