SPX Credit Spread Trader

Donna alert...decided to buy back my may 1215/1225 put spread (50) contracts....still have 25 1215 long puts dangling but because I did leg into the spread I'll log a profit and move on BTO 1.2 STC @ .25 net .95 will look to do another put spread may be next week
 
The leg you mentined is that the same ones that you commented on in a prior message?

Nice legs or something like that.

I was inspired by maverick and his endless banter about debit spreads, so i decided to add some variety to my boring trading as of late. So i opened the following position a few minutes ago. Yes, you guessed it right - DEBIT SPREADS :D


20 MAY SPY 130/128 bear put spreads for a $.40 debit.

Max RISK $800
Max REWARD $4,000 (thanx to the put side premium skew)

If a correction is in the works, now would be a good time to start.

coach -> nice call on GOOG.

EDIT: It turns out i was filled for $.35 debit. So max r/r is $700/4000

Got the following filled today:

SPX MAY 1260/1275 bear call at $0.75 credit

Also placed the following hedge:

XSP MAY 133/134 bull call for a debit of $0.35

I was watching the XSP and the SPY and it seemed like the XSP debit spread was $0.05 cheaper so I purchased it instead.

I legged each leg into NDX for May today.

1650p/1675p/1825c/1850c for $4.40. I'm a raging bull. the 50/75calls didn't have enough premium for me.

My APR spx call's are atm 1315/1325, we'll see when SET is reported. I have teeny weeny size on, so not too worried. I originally just had the 1270p/1260p and got a little greedy with the calls.

I experimented with 5 pts for spx may.
1230p/1235p/1350c/1355c. I expect to adjust this beast pretty soon.
