What's "under the surface"? You mean something like I'm the one that started the thread and has been giving value to people, never having asked for anything in return for it except feedback, but then you come along and say in essense that you are a lying theif and steal clicks from people through google and then try to get people here to pay you because you think that being a crook makes you some kind of expert? Maybe that seems "under the surface" to you, but I suspect it's pretty transparent to everyone else.

It appears you took my $3 CPC and made your numbers. This was not a good thing to do because they are not realistic numbers. In fact, the reason I posted those numbers if you go back and read is because I had no idea what I was doing.

I was asking for help, and used my being charged $3 per click as an example because that is an insane number to pay.

If it is someone's else product, do you send them to the sales page or to those pages where you get their information.

If you get their information, how many of them give it when compared to the number of those who click?

I used better keywords with less competition and lowered my max bids for everything. I don't have data for the bids at the higher price because I didn't let more than a couple clicks happen.

I am selling somone else's product. They come to my page for a review, and then go to the products page and make a purchase.

I don't collect information on them yet.

But my post was made when the only data you had is the $3CPC. How could I have known that you would have a lower CPC. I also do not agree with you saying they are not realistic. The proof that they are realistic is that you paid them.

I however agree if you mean that your first bidding was not realistic, which you made realistic by lowering your bid.

Also could I ask why you send them to your own site? Is it because you want to give them a choice among say three products on the same topic?

Also how many clicks you have had so far? When do you expect the first sale to be (in terms of clicks)?

This is the way clickbank operates. From what I have read, you used to be able to do affiliate marketing without having your own site. You could put up the ads and get paid for people buying the product by using your ad to get to the product page.

Now you have to have your own site that has links to the product page.

Current Stats:

Clicks to page: 42
Clicks from my page to product page(aka) Hops: 15
Total Cost: $29 (note: this includes $12 of way overpriced clicks)
Sales: 0 x $40 = $0

38 clicks for $17.00 ?

Is that correct? How many days to date to get this many?

That is correct. It took a little over 24 hours to get these. Would have a lot more but I turned off Google sponsored search while I made some new ads. I'm going to turn it back on tonight. 1/2 of my clicks came from it but my ads were not targeted enough and cost was climbing quickly. I'm hoping these changes will bring up my click through rate to the product page.
