Soybeans for 2017

It looks like all the small speculators have tapped out from being short. Whether (or Weather) we hit new highs with the strong dollar is another thing.

A little late for beans, this time of year they aint nuthin but a gleam in some farmers eye. Let it snow let it snow let it snow. Won't bother soybeans any. Nothing really to trade now but intentions. No shortage of world stocks so they say today.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I was thinking of next year's crop. However, that may be premature without rain data as well.

This stock market rally has me wanting more diversification over the longer horizon.

Are Soybeans really impacted by USD? Are there any links/references that elaborate on this relationship?

I been long since early this year, just rollover, few attempts to add to Longs, some good and some hits stops, what else is new. I don't look at any fundamentals, factored into price by time it comes out, don't care what small or large traders doing, just trade my method. Spreading buy nearby/sell distant when get signals.

I just checked, the correlation between Soybean prices and USD is nonexistent.
How many beans will China import if the USD goes up more against the yuan? Will they buy more if USD goes down?
