South Korea reports recovered coronavirus patients testing positive again

Wuhan has finally just lifted the lock down after 76 days.

It think the US has decided that deaths can be allowed to rise to 60,000 in order to shorten the lockdown period, thats the acceptable number probably because thats about how many people die from regular flu in a bad year.

So lockdowns will end when they estimate only that many people at most will die, they wont wait 76 days to get an even lower number. I dont think the US can afford to wait that long anyway.

I'm just guessing...economically...the U.S. can only afford to keep a lockdown for 2 - 3 months.

Actually, anything more than 2 months, the President Trump can say goodbye to his re-election bid because the Democrats will spin that long of a lockdown into something that gives them an easy victory.

In fact, the media will start to spin stories about a possible lift of the lockdown for timelines like May 1st or June 1st.

I doubt the people will blame Trump for the Corona virus that took the economy down. If Trump boasts about his track record before the virus in creating jobs/economy and promises to bring them back to new highs then he is highly likely to get a landslide victory.

No president has ever won re election in the middle of a recession.
And this one is looking like it might be the worst recession since 1930, and maybe even in the same sort of league as that depression

Although they wont blame him for the pandemic the unemployed are going to run out of patience by November if they are still out of work.

They will blame him for not sorting out the recovery fast enough.

It means nothing. Just some false crap-ass to try to make us feel-good after all the negativity. It will have the opposite effect when they finally report that the test was wrong, faulty, false positives, false negatives, etc etc etc. Like with that woman in MA today. 4 tests. She had it based on a test, started her 14-day lockdown, retested later on twice, got a false negative on third try, is back in ANOTHER 14-day lockdown.

Guys, this shit is never going to end. Every negative test will be a false one, and every positive will be false until it is conveniently flipped to a positive. We're going to be prodded to isolate for a couple of years at least. What a terrible time to go long in the market.

Trump vrs Biden in terms of political weight more like company President vrs a office manager.

If Biden picks some strong VP mate like Sanders or Bloomberg or Hillary, then Trump might have to pack his bags despite him doing lots good for the US.

Btw, just remembered that Biden has promised a woman VP mate so probably Hillary might get a promotion to her credentials.
