Somebody managed to encapsulate all that MSNBC stands for in a 1 minute video.

From the article:

It's become a joke among young people. You go to a campus where this kind of political correctness reins, and some young person will say looks like it's going to rain. The person listening says, you're a racist. I mean it's so inappropriate. The constant implication of this that it is, I think, becoming a national mirth.

This is what I was talking about the other day. Eventually, the claim of racism will lose it's teeth and everyone will just laugh whenever someone brings out the racist card. It's killing it's own potency via overuse. It's no different than profanity. It used to be the profanity was used whenever a situation was drastic or significant enough to call for that language. Overuse it and the words don't have the power they once did. Eventually, they become common.

It could, if there is no racism. Thanks to modern recording devices and the internet, though, we're regularly reminded just how much racism is still out there. But, you have described a decent strategy that a real racist here at P&R might try, to attempt to hide his racism in a deluge of ridiculous "racist!" statements. Not that any posters here have ever tried that.
:D

Just like when they call someone who questions AGW a "denier". I laugh everytime I hear that. One thing I have noticed about leftist kooks over the years. The worse they are doing, the louder and crazier they get. Next few months are going to be fun watching them twisting in the wind on the Obama flag pole. :D
