Well, that is certainly true for the top one or two on the list. They post links and make irrational hyperbolic judgement statements. And quite frankly there are those from the right side of the political spectrum that do the same.
For me, I love a good political debate and exploring ideas. I have repeatedly liked posts and publicly complimented a well constructed on-point argument from the far left - Piezoe comes to mind. I will take the time to carefully read and consider a well crafted and thought out far leftist point of view. I will likely agree with quite a few libertarian and classical liberal ideas. But bombs from the radical right or radical left does nobody any good at all. In fact, it shuts down the free exchange of ideas.
If I think a lefty joke or image is quality humor I will "like" it without reserve - Slartibartfast and Here4Money have gotten likes from me just in the past few days or so in fact. If it's funny and on point it is funny and holds up no matter what your political bent - if you're open minded to new ideas or at least receptive

It is so adorable when an errr..autistic spectrum? member of the ET community thinks they have something black and white to be right about. You get so excited and tail waggy! Most of our autistic spectrums on ET are quants (ish) and such so it is nice to have diversity of background and even intellect.

Bit of a difference of opinion with bone on defending voters who made a bad call for ignoble reasons in large part. The self-esteem movement in the US has done enough damage.

In fact, up to and including the Obama administration the CIA has conducted operations to influence foreign elections - the US has a long history of meddling in foreign elections. The Obama administration funded political groups and political campaigns in Kenya, Libya, Israel, Macedonia, Honduras, and Egypt.

It has surpassed governmental interference significantly lately. The oligarchs are playing it large on the big stage. I tend to subscribe to a theory described by Peter Turchin relating to oversupply and inter-elite competition (not just the true elite) that occurs before civilisations have destabilised.

Having spoken in person I found him credible enough, some will have been dramatised of course. It got me noticing the number of times the US has ham-fistedly manipulated South America and the Middle East during the Cold War.
