I hope you are aware that happens all the time. It's a regular occurence. You're picking out ONE incident in 10 years, which is means nothing in the existence of this planet.

But that cuts both ways. People are talking about the warming now, and this is the cause. The earth has gone through these cycles since it's creation, and will continue to go through these cycles. But when people point to glaciers receding as a sign of global warming they're right - but it's not "greenhouse gasses" or any snake-oil like that.

This is going to sound too simple but here is my theory.

Oil is a synthetic which acts as a cooling agent. When your car has runs out of oil...it does what? Gets hotter, right? If it runs too long w/o oil, the engine could very well blow up. Follow me?

We are extracting oil (the earths coolant) from the Earth.

This sounds like common sense.

You should re-read my posts in this thread and step back and think. The problem with this topic is that 95% are instantly polarized one way or another. Just like politics, where people are die-hard Left or Right, instantly labeling the others all while both of the sides are screwing those same followers in unison.

Think about that for a while.

Already have. I could give 2 shits if it is greenhouse gasses or just a warming ocean causing the problems - I just want straight information - not lies to push agendas. That bugs me.

The straight information is that it is happening at a rate beyond what the natural cycles of Earth & Sun produce. If you take in all the information, you see that something is going on and it's not accidental. The real eye openers come from when you fully investigate the Global Warming movement.
