Bear markets have always preceded the recession by 6 months. In the 2000, the market started crumbling in March with the burst of Nasdaq bubble. By September, the economy was in a dire strait. In late 2007, the market showed signs of weakness. By early 2008, the major indices were falling off the cliff. By the summer of 2008, the Great Recession was firmly established.
So, it wouldn't surprise me to see the full impact of recession in about 5 months from now since the market has been in a nosedive for the last 4 weeks.

The old are supposed to make way for the new.
They haven't done that. One of the largest cost of government is maintaining old people. #1 owners of assets are also old people.
Do with that what you will.
I fully expect this generation of old people to be the last to be able to rape the next generation as badly as they have.
