So atheist's believe it is simpler for the universe to create itself?

oh, resorting to "snarky replies" are we? what is it with you liberals? Why do you hate discussion so? Is it because you just can't stand lowering yourself to our level?

Sorry. Your post was just dumb. And I've seen too many people trade away their money. Retired people having to go back to work. It's sad. I've made some bad mistakes myself.

for crying out loud, you can't even talk about God anymore without someone trying to turn it into a shit fest

I know! One used to be able to talk about God around the Thanksgiving meal all the time without people getting all opinionated and stuff. The last time I did, I had mashed potatoes thrown at me!

haven't we all? nobody probably more than me, yet, I have found everything I was looking for, hard to just call it all coincidence, it seems God was just patiently waiting for me to finally get done bitching so he could answer my prayer, so time, becomes the crucial issue, billions of years or the short life of a man?

hard to separate the concept of God from the concept of time

Since it is all relative

What was that guys name?, oh yeah, Eienstein

well, there is no shame in being an atheist, it's the logical move

Yes, it was a relative that threw the mashed potatoes at me. It happened all too quickly.

are you making a case for God or against God? It's kind of hard to tell. With all those zeros in your statistics, it looks like we are pretty special.

You think humans are special? Gods creations right? It's all here for us right? LOL

Statistically speaking, virtually 100% of the universe would kill us instantly. Humans have lived for what amounts to again, statistically speaking, virtually 0% of the universes life. The amount of the light spectrum humans can see is almost none. The amount of matter and forces in the universe we can feel and interact with is nearly 0. We are not even remotely equipped to live in this universe. Gold fish are more well adapted to living on the top of Mount Everest than people are to living in this universe.

We humans don't even qualify as a spec of dust in the grand scheme of things. It's absurd to think that any of this place has anything to do with us. It's absurd to believe there is a God, that he created humans, and most laughably that somehow the universe that was created was for us.

Atheists don't pretend to know things we can't know. Nobody knows the origin of the universe. What we can do is look at the evidence and go where it leads, no matter how unlikely. There is zero evidence of a God, so it's absurd to believe in one, end of story. There is however at least some preliminary evidence for the big bang. Not much, but far more to go on that the so called "Creation theory."

Atheists have no problem with beliefs. What we have a problem with is the level of stupidity required to have religious beliefs, especially beliefs in a personal God. That would take a child mind to buy into...

excellent post, I especially like the LOL, that sets it off nicely

btw I am LMAO

otherwise, nobody is talking about a creation theory, that's just something you small minded atheists cling to

get over it, you need it to feel superioir, even though nobody believes in it anymore, what's next? are you now going to try to explain why the world wasn't created in 8 days?

about the only thing more stupider than an atheist is a Christian (or now days, a Moslem)

well then, what we are talking about is the concept of time. Is it billions of years which doesn't affect me or you, or is it one man's lifetime?
