Yep. Some defense strategy they are working there. Trying to prove that she was in an abusive relationship, because, well, everyone knows that bilking and defrauding investors and lying to regulators is a well known symptom of domestic abuse. OR NOT.

Actually she is following the old "I will get knocked up and because I am a woman and we do not want any children with mothers in prison I will get a reduced sentence" defense. And it will work. Not for an acquittal but it will get her points at sentencing. Bigtime.

On March 10, the 'Empire' actor was sentenced to 150 days along with a $25,000 fine for faking a racist, homophobic attack in 2019. Not only did the actor yell at the judge, but he also made a Black power symbol and made threats to the court, which social media was aghast to hear.

Earlier in his testimony, Smollett had described his sexual relationship with one of the Osundairo brothers .. “We got a private room again, we did drugs and made out a little bit, and this time we masturbated together,” he said.
