Small company from Trump Interior chief's hometown wins massive contract to restore PR's power

Exactly and their contract was for 280 million and they are not getting above market rates with no audit clauses.

This is because GE is a large firm with a sizeable accounting and legal department with in-depth auditing relationship experience with existing relationships with PREPA in place. They are primarily providing equipment, not labor under their recovery contract. Very different situation.

I looked it up, Fluor got the contract, not GE. Fluor is not a division of GE.

And such large contracts with public money are not made because of 'relationships', it's not his money to spend on relationships.

Can they be fired for any or no reason? Is that in the GE contract? What rates are they getting?

Having a no audit clause under any event while they are overcharging is definitely not in the Fluor contract

Still waiting on comps.

People who regularly work on such things are saying the rates are outrageous, I am not interested in doing more research.

Then I mis-remembered which company got the contract and I apologize. Can you post your link showing Fluor got the contract (I am politely asking). Thx.

And something very fishy about the PREPA CEO

Rosselló said recently that 95 percent of the power would be restored by Christmas.

Techmanski is doubtful.

“I don’t know where he got that and what information he was using,” he said. “Without doing a full assessment countrywide, I couldn’t fathom how many months, if it’s going to be two months, three months, five months. . . . We’ve been focused in the small areas that we’ve been working.”

He keeps lying

Have you ever negotiated a contract? Do you understand anything about risk?

Whitefish is taking a lot of risk.

Most companies would not take the risk that Whitefish is under the contract.
Don't bother explaining business or contracts to exgop. He's still living in his mom's basement trying to figure out how to pay off his French Literary History Degree wondering why he can't get a job as a Starbucks Barista.

Didn't knew Republican Representatives who run oversight committees, Federal Oversight Watchdogs, PR's mayor, Business Reporters from multiple news agencies and workers who have been doing this very same work for decades are jobless.

Thanks for such level of insight Kellyanne.

Keep whipping up the winds - eventually a leaf might fall off a tree.
In the meantime, you don't know fuck all about what you are hysterically shrieking. Best to stay on the sidelines there, rook.
