Quote from stockinvestor:

Bankruptcy is just not an option. I haven't even considered it. Also, government has recently (couple of years ago) passed a law where bankruptcy doesn't wipe out your student loans. So even if I declare bankruptcy my student loans follow me.

There is a small point of opening, as the student loans are amortized over a 30 year period. My goal is to get rid of the credit card balances as soon as possible. That should get me to safer grounds.

One thing I learned is that if you write down all your expenses as you spend right on the spot on a index card, you'd be careful in how you spend your money. That is my goal.
Use credit cards to pay off student loan debt, declare bankruptcy. I learned said technique watching suzie orman, surprising the occasional useful things you can learn on the MSM.

Fuck this trying to pay off all these damn loans. Government should definitely make education more affordable in the U.S.

I'm in no mood to pay off these loans. I'll be bailing out at the most opportune time. Fuk the system and the corporate croonies.

do it.

hey dipshit, it's not the goverment's fault that you ran up $200k of debt.

You should have picked a school that you could afford without loans, or picked a major that would allow you to make more than minimum wage.

Let me guess, you're a music history major or something stupid like that???

Big spending day today. The unlimited subway card bought today will save me many spendings on transportation over the month. That was the reason for spending that much for a metro card.

No, fuck you. Nobody forced you to sign for those loans. You knew what you were getting into. You made your bed, go lie in it.
