Slave Journals

Noting expenses item by item and day by day is a great exercise.. My wife absolutely refused to ever do that, ran up credit cards, so I said "ok, you want a spending race, see you at the finish line". She drove me mad and I had a mad time of it.. finally I was out of work and unable to pay anything, I have a year and a half to go to beat the statute of lims on the unsecured krap, and I don't care if they do catch me, all they can get is a lien on a rental I have and hyperinflation could wipe that out... My advice to everybody: game that frigging system if you have to... and make a potential spouse do the line by line, day by day thingy BEFORE you get married and make sure she understands how important it is to your plans that she not destroy them.

The OP either is a uniquely challenged and eccentric individual, or is engaged in some relatively high-quality and witty trolling. I'd give 98% odds in favor of the latter. :D

It could yet be a fun thread if you only try a little harder :)

This has to go down as one of the most bizarre threads ever. It never ceases to amaze me what some people will do to create social interaction for themselves.

Food + Beer = $5.25. Priceless!!

This thread is quite...odd....BUT

it makes a good point...Keep track of personal expenses, as well as business expenses, so you don't end up 200k in the hole!

I better start writing down my expenses while I'm at it! :D Yippy!

January 26, 2009

Food Expense, more drinks: -$ 2.97
Food Expense, lunch: -$ 4.50
Real Estate Expense, tax/mortgage: -$ 960
Domain Expense, renewals: $29.98

Total Expense: -$ 997.15

I obviously underestimated my total loan amount I owe everyone. It looks like I owe about $300K. More info on other student loans and credit cards coming later.

Student Loan #1: $70,000 (in grace period till June, and has to make payments amounting to $800 per month after that.)
Real Estate Mortgage #1: $60,000 (not an investment but a disaster, as I owe this much on a property nobody in their right minds would ever buy and I cannot use)
