Six Iranians arrested for dancing to promote islam

I could type for hours, but it's over the top obvious that you know absolutely nothing about God! Literally nothing, and it's sad, but also very obvious.

God created the Heavens and Earth. He sent his Son here to give the word, and die for the sins of every single person on Earth, so that they who believe, could be saved. God COMMANDS that His word be obeyed! If you read the Bible vs whatever nonsense that's polluting your mind, you would read about so many other very faithful followers RIGHT THERE IN THE BIBLE who God challenged, and yes, they suffered... Try reading the Bible, and you'll find answers!

She may never take the time to read the bible- It's long and difficult to understand.

At least she's shared the source of what's been polluting her mind...

Some Reasons Why Humanists Reject The Bible
by Joseph C. Sommer
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Introduction

Humanists reject the claim that the Bible is the word of God. They are convinced the book was written solely by humans in an ignorant, superstitious, and cruel age. They believe that because the writers of the Bible lived in an unenlightened era, the book contains many errors and harmful teachings....

It's ironic- the "Humanist" who wrote the above would spend so much time shooting holes in the Bible; pointing out some of its more obvious contradictions; teaching that it's a dangerous book to read and that is written by the heavily unenlightened... but offering little or nothing in return.

I've read the bible throughout and have never received one broken bone nor have I broken a single bone of another due to its teachings.

The author's intent primarily seems to dissuade the ignorant from reaching any enlightenment on their own, but instead would rather his readers find great knowledge through his own writings.

But what has he really offered besides the rhetoric that bible haters have already been spewing for decades?

Remind me, How is enlightenment to be obtained from his words?

I am saying if the god is creator of everything, than the god create the universe with suffering and pain too. That god do not allow it, that god create it. With all the power the god has?
Why you so stupid? Why God not create universe with suffering and pain? Why God not allow it?

In the New Testament, God became far worse in regard to imposing excessively severe punishments. It would be hard to imagine anything more cruel and disproportionate than punishing people with eternal torture for mere disbelief that Jesus was the son of God.

Would you or the "Humanist" who wrote this mind pointing to where exactly it says in the New Testament that God will punish with eternal torture all who disbelieve that Jesus is the son of God?

Don't believe the rumors and lies spread by the Antichrist. Don't rely on someone else's interpretation of what has been said and taught. Learn for yourself.

She may never take the time to read the bible- It's long and difficult to understand.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you take the time to read the bible? You say "It's long and difficult to understand"
My link show how a person take the time to read the bible and question the bible. If you say YOU "take the time" to read the bible, please explain what you think .
So why does the god make the bible (difficult to understand) if the god want the people to understand?

I think if there is the god that know everything (past, present, future) and that god create everything, why does that god not give that knowledge to people he create? Why does the god do this?

You ask, "Why does God create all the suffering and not give all the knowledge?"

If you've never experienced a cold and rainy night, then How could you appreciate a warm and sunny day?

If you don't know what it's like to have pain, How could you ever experience any pleasure?

The Chinese have been aware of this for millennium, but the vast majority of the ancient thinkers and their students never seemed appreciate that the pain and suffering were gifts given to us by a loving and merciful God.

God gives us suffering so we can appreciate the joys. It would only make sense to appreciate what is given and say thanks. Instead you complain that it's stupid. Does this make you stupid?

Your link showing how a person take the time to read Bible and question the Bible is quite telling of today's scrupulous scientific zealots- the Antichrists.

If you say to me, "Can I ask you a question?" and I say "Shoot." - Does this mean I want you to pull out a firearm, aim it and pull the trigger?

Even very young children understand that language is not always as it seems and adults should understand, it changes with the times.

To say the bible is wrong because in one place it says fruit trees were here before man, then in another it says the opposite, well, that's just too easy.

Most 4th grade level readers can easily start pointing out such contradictions, but may never understand the finer lessons because their teacher told them to stop reading.

To answer your question "So why does the god make the bible (difficult to understand) if the god want the people to understand?"- God does want people to understand, but sadly most will never open their hearts and minds enough to make it happen. This is also to say that people are born stupid, and progress can be painfully slow.

But as was pointed in another post, how can we ever appreciate the light, unless we've spent some time in the dark?

Stupid isn't a life sentence for everyone- even if many prefer to stay that way.

I do not think pain and suffering "were gifts to us by a loving god" That is stupid.

...but how did "we" create the universe?

That's a good question.

However, "we" did it- The genius scientist Alex Filippenko, says (and his constituents agree) that In the Beginning, the Universe expanded from something smaller than a dime to larger than a a galaxy in a the millionth of a millionth of a millionth of a millionth of a millionth of a millionth of a second.

He also says that the Universe has been expanding faster and faster ever since.

He will however also agree the Hubble constant is 48 miles per second per 3.26 million light-years.

Keep in mind that a common galaxy is more than a 100,000 light years in diameter, and that a light year in miles is 5.878499 x 10 to the power of 12.

TALK ABOUT CONTRADICTIONS!!!!

And people just drink up this goofs vomit like it was holy water...

You now agree they did use the word God.

No I don't. You're agreeing they used the word God when all the time they wrote the words nature's god.
Which is not the word God, and has never meant the same thing except to the ignorant and non-intelligent such as yourself.

notice the capital letters below.

yeah, and how there were non when they wrote it up :p

The clown pool you speak of must be pretty small because we're swimming in circles.

How about answering a direct question...

Is there really such a thing as an inalienable right?

If so, Can you name one or even two?

I've seen plenty of times where someone or many have had their "inalienable" rights stripped from them. Not once have I ever heard anyone say (until now) that it was the Values to someones right's have been stripped, but they were still able to retain their original rights.

Just imagine all of the poor bodies , bloodied knees, crying in the dirt because their hand had been chopped off, a loved one was beaten to death, or their babies were sold out from under them.

I can see it now, the Human Rights committee shows up and there is Stu with his hands facing outwards telling them to stop and go back to where ever they came from saying, "Send in the Human Rights' Values Committee", and then honks his nose.

In answer to your question, Yes there really is such a thing as an inalienable right.
The philosophy behind them has been understood for millennia.
The founders were expressing some. They are considered natural rights. Those which can be reasoned to derive from nature, corresponding to the very nature of existence itself.

"A free people claim their rights as derived from the laws of nature, and not as the gift of their chief magistrate." Thomas Jefferson

No, you haven't seen inalienable rights stripped from somebody. You've seen their rights violated by something called God, a King, a government or terrorists, whatever. Though perhaps what you haven't seen apparently, is the distinction between the meaning of removed the meaning of abused.

Because you cannot exercise your human right doesn't mean it is no longer your right.

With respect, if you can't grasp that much then there's plenty of room along side the other ET religious loons in the oversized red boots and silly pants area.
