Simple Profitable Method

The fact that you dont realize just how constructive my post was, only shows your extreme ignorance of real trading.

I can flip coins and make money, but not in the long run. Post a 5 year equity curve of the profits this system has made and then maybe someone will believe you.

But ive backtested the hell out of thousands of combinations of the kind of indicators you are using and I know they are worthless.

Now go on and keep being fooled by randomness. When you blow out, come back and read my original post, and think to yourself, gee, I could have saved myself a lot of money and time :D

Your post, much like yourself, is full of shit.

Your head is obviously so far up your ass that oxygen deprivation has set in, affecting your already limited intellect.

Several academic researchers have published studies indicating that trading short term momentum works. Based on some of those studies I did my own tests and verified what they published. I added a filter to help me know when to stand aside, and the rest is history. YOU on the other hand are sitting in your mother's basement jerking off with one hand and trying to type with the other.

I think its time for you to disappear, you friggin idiot. There are plenty of other threads in need of a village idiot, and you certainly qualify.

Great fun bitchslapping you around. Feel free to post again if you would like some more.

Kinggyppo,

Ok...now were getting someplace.

Would you do us a favor and plot Trader28's special SMA 3 and
8 Shift +2 on your computer?

Then plot some EMA's and SMA's and see what is closest to his
special SMA's. I am thinking for his SMA8 it is a EMA25, for example.

The problem is, some of us can do it on their computer program's
and some of us can't. But it would be great information for all of
us to have and watch. If we could just approximate it.

Oh...by the way, I just trade the (ym index) and my system isn't set up to watch individual stocks, so I really can't comment on any individual stocks. But I would think the system would trade the same.

Thanks for all your help...

snarlyjack
there is no way you can use another ma to come close to a ma+2, the effort is just a waist of time, it's never going to work

Like Bearbelly said we could also change software. But that
seems like a substantial change. But you do what
you have to do...

With that in mind, I also have "E-SIGNAL" charts available
to me, that I use as my data provider.

Does anyone know if you can use E-SIGNAL charts to plot the
"Moving Averages, Offsets" and if so how do you dial it in?

Thanks

Hey Tyler,

It's 4:45 A.M. here in "Mountain Time" and I was thinking of
this in my sleep and now I'm up fooling with the computer...

Thanks for your help, I'll play around with E-Signal and see
what happens.

Thanks

Thanks Tyler,

I appreciate that!!!

I'm in "E-SIGNAL" and I plotted the two sma's.

1). SMA3, 2 offset (Blue)
2). SMA8, 2 offset (Red)

then we have our basic set-up's...

3). MACD (12,26,9)
4). OBV (On Balance Volume)
5). Stochastics (14,1,3)

Are we all in agreement that this is our "basic" set-up?

With 2 minor tweaks ( The Stoch and the OBV)???

Trader28,

Are/Can we use this as a crossover between your special SMA
3 and 8, (2 + offset) also? Lining it up with the Macd cross?

Now we really are getting someplace!!!

Thanks

snarlyjack

Ok Ya'll,

Now, that I have our basic setup plotted in E-Signal Charts.

The next big question is: How do I get E-Signal to print a
chart so I can post it on ET?

I tried to post a picture. I clicked on the camera, sent the
chart to the clip board but not sure what to do after that?

Thanks
