Should the term "Democrat Party" be abolished?

When we look at the atrocities committed by the members of the Democrat Party throughout its history it is astonishing. No group of people have caused more death, pain, division, and other mayhem in American history than the democrat party. Being such, is it time to retire the term "democrat party"?

Time for you to re-study your American history. There is plenty of sectional blame to go around for death, pain, division, and other mayhem in American history. Go ask the American Indian and some others. Most race riots with a significant number of deaths occurred outside the South over the course of U.S. history.

Hello everyone, my name is FDR, the father of the modern democrat party. I threw American citizens in camps, simply based on their national origin and I nominated a Klansman to Supreme Court. Ask any modern democrat about me, they will tell you how great I am.

P.S. - "My name is F.D.R. and I launched personal attacks on radio against my opponents that make Trump look like a light-weight on Twitter."

"I am a conservative. I intend to give the American people a clear choice. I welcome a fight between our philosophy and the liberal left-wing dogma which now threatens to engulf every man, woman, and child in the United States. I am in this race because I believe the American people have been pushed around long enough and that they, like you and I, are fed up with the continuing trend toward a socialist state which now subjects the individual to the dictates of an all-powerful central government."

George Wallace, racist Southern Democrat

"The Democrats were also the party of slavery, and the slave-owning mentality continues to shape the policies of Democratic leaders today. The point isn’t that the Democrats invented slavery which is an ancient institution that far predates America. Rather, Democrats like Senator John C. Calhoun invented a new justification for slavery, slavery as a “positive good.” For the first time in history, Democrats insisted that slavery wasn’t just beneficial for masters; they said it was also good for the slaves.

Today progressive pundits attempt to conceal Democratic complicity in slavery by blaming slavery on the “South.” These people have spun a whole history that portrays the slavery battle as one between the anti-slavery North and the pro-slavery South. This of course benefits Democrats today, because today the Democratic Party’s main strength is in the north and the Republican Party’s main strength is in the South.

But the slavery battle was not mainly a North-South issue. It was actually a battle between the pro-slavery Democrats and the anti-slavery Republicans."

Abe Lincoln represented The Union States and fought against the racist people of the southern confederate states. Jefferson Davis represented the racist people of the southern confederate states

Most of Martin Luther Kings protests were against the racist southern confederate states and their racist segregation/jim crow laws and policies. George Wallace was a racist southern confederate state politician that represented the racist southern confederate state of Alabama.
