Agreed. Responsibility for gun incidents should go to the owner, just like for cars. They should charge the father whose gun was taken and used as well.

They're throwing terrorism charges on top of Faux is to be believed (lol)Switching gears on this, they are charging the 15 year old shooter as an adult and I am not so sure that is the right thing to do.
If we make the penalty really, Really, REALLY bad that will deter hormonal young men. They're throwing terrorism charges on top of Faux is to be believed (lol)

Insurance should cover that risk, particularly because it's so rare a scenario.I'm not sure I totally agree with that. If someone borrows my car and goes insane and decides to run someone down with it, I go to jail?
Put them down, shallow grave, no need to waste tax player's money rehabilitating their kind. Psychopathy is not a trait that we need in the gene pool lest it ends up in the white House againI have no idea what is in his phone or what other evidence they have so I’m not informed enough to call it one way or the other on the terrorism stuff. The age thing is concerning to me.

Progress, not perfection. And yes, financial liability for the gun and car, criminal liability according to motive, or recklessness. So, you believe there should be financial liability in the case of the car - also in the case of the gun? Or do you believe in criminal liability in the case of the car and the gun?
Its hard to get to what you believe because you're not elaborating.
I understand that Michigan has no law about having to secure guns in the homeI'm not sure I totally agree with that. If someone borrows my car and goes insane and decides to run someone down with it, I go to jail?
With a gun it is very different. Someone borrows or takes a gun I didn't secure (guns have but one purpose) then I see it. Cars? Someone could borrow my car because they need to get to the store. Then they lose their mind.
