AGAIN, if you follow basketball( which I doubt) the Lakers beat teams in the East back in the day because the Eastern teams beat each other up so badly, that they could not compete in
Championships. Or, more likey something you can relate to, the NFC EAST champs could never beat the Steelers for the same reason.
