Short-term trading with Oscar

Quote from mde2004:

Post your results here, they will not be removed.

They deleted the results, and I don't particularly want to redo - it was about 90-120 minutes work. What I recall is that (using OMNI directional indicator, without entry/exit numbers, on a 9:30-4pm EST prices):

- Jan - April, each month had quite positive returns.
- May - July 8ish, each month had quite negative returns
- Overall Jan - July 8ish long+short were about 6% up for year, while overall market was up about 11% for year at that point.

- July 8 - August 15ish were even worse (negative)

Sorry OMNIacs, but truth is truth. But emotions are out!!! Too bad they let emotions muzzle fact, and try to blame an objective survey as "a bad test" and "having an agenda."

You are welcome to do the algebra and factor in entries & exits, but based on posts I saw, they did not help much during the bad period that this survey quantified

Oscar did it again. Took profits to early.

As we all say in the premium room...
"It is never too early to take your profits"

think again about your statement Sir...

It is when you have a history of taking 10-20 point losses and then closing winners at the very BEGINNING of a 20-30 point move. Perhaps it is you who should think about your statement. Ooops, my bad.....you pay mikey to do your thinking for you.

Here's a piece of free advice; never post while in a drunken stupor from drinking mikey's koolaid. It only exposes you for the fool you keep showing yourself to be.

Try that with a win loss ratio below 50%, then come back to tell us what happened :)

For that statement to have any positive practical meaning, you have to define expected win loss ratio.

In fact, on its own that is the most stupid statement, try that with your average 10 point stop and take profits after 1 point gain, now apply 90% win loss scenario.

Again, post the premium room TRACK RECORD or ARCHIVES, and there might be something interesting.

Otherwise, your words have no meaning. Oscar's OMNI posts sure don't. He has basically been in a tailspin

I have to admit your post is so true as I am also a member of Oscars site. Some of the people here have no idea what they are talking about, they just seem to have it out for him. There is no place like his site. All I can say it is such a great site with no BS from other users.

Paulds11 have you tried out his premium room the users on his site are raving about it, as I am also a member of his premium room and nothing compares to it. All I can say the money you spend is well worth every penny.......

Hi trader 0062.. Yes Ive tried the premium room and it was simply one of the best finds ever!!!!!.. it is now part of my trading day and I simply cant imagine now trading in the day without the constant analysis, chat and videos of Oscar and his desktop analysis especially during the "Chop" session of the day as we all ask questions, seek advise, chip in on news and events... sweat it out together when most of decide to take a trade and were all negative with newer members begging to bail the position and Oscar telling us to keep our emotions out of the trade by using stops... there are simply not enough words in the English language to describe how I feel about the room and Oscar.. and Im no sheep or timid wanna be looking for a friend either.. thats why the negative comments are so odd to me in this thread...

People who have been in there will laugh at the negatives mentioned here by anyone because he dares to call it in advance, we learn to know how and why he got to a decision and he has software that also makes calls to him we can choose to also follow or not...

and today we all made money helping each other out with a single trade swing on ES..

My only worry is, its so good what happens if he stops doing it?.. I just cant think about that its too upsetting...

"...its never too early to take some profits traders.."

See you back in the room...

regards
Paul

No need for him to define mikey's abysmal win/loss ratio. We already know what that is!!

Furthermore, you should be ashamed asking an omni-ite to think logically!!!! How dare you!!! :D

My these shills are idiots! And forget the expectation, that would involve decimals and multiplications, both, I am sure, several grade levels above this shill's ability.

No disrespect intended towards you whatsoever!!! I was merely poking fun at the moron via your reply. Gov summed it up better than I, but that was my meaning as well. :D :D :D :D
